Description:
With its 133 mm thick lid, the Polar Top loft staircase is literally top in terms of insulation. Even without the upper cover, it achieves an excellent U-value of 0.40 W/m2K. With the upper lid, this value can even be optimized to 0.32 W/m2K. Thanks to the 2-point safety lock, the Polar Top wooden staircase can be classified in airtightness class 4.
Flexible Design:
The Polar Top is available in four versions and is therefore suitable for the most common shell dimensions. It can be used in ceiling openings measuring 120×60, 120×70, 130×70 and 140×70 cm. In total, you can reach a maximum room height of 275 cm with the Polar Top loft staircase.
Like all Minka wooden floor stairs, the Polar Top is made of natural spruce wood. The safety handrail is made of steel and has a yellow coating powder.
Sustainable use:
People have always relied on wood as a building material. This renewable material also makes sense for loft stairs due to its high stability and easy installation options. The 27 mm thick steps and the 35 mm thick solid wood lining box ensure safe access to your storage tank for many years or decades. The stair shoes made of high-quality PVC prevent wear and tear on the stairs and floor.
